Podiatry Practice Act 2005   AND   Human Services Finder Update

Podiatry Practice Act 2005

The Board wishes to advise that the new Podiatry Practice Act 2005 was proclaimed on 31 August 2006. At the same time the General Regulations were gazetted and the new Board appointed.

Therefore the Podiatry Board of South Australia is now in operation under the new legislation. The Board is currently in the process of updating all of its publications (including all information available on this website) under the new Act and Regulations.

Once the revised documentation is adopted by the new Board at its first meeting (this is scheduled to be held on Thursday 28 September 2006) it will be uploaded to this website which will also be completely updated. Once this has been done, an email will be sent to all registrants who have provided the Board with a valid email address. Registrants are encouraged to visit the website at this time and look through the updated information.

In the meantime, if you wish to peruse the new Podiatry Practice Act, you can access it on the AustLII website by clicking on the following link: Podiatry Practice Act 2005

Human Services Finder Update

As you may be aware, the Department of Health created a service directory last year "the Human Services Finder" which is a free Internet-based directory available to the public. This directory allows providers and the public to quickly locate health and other community services in their area.

The Department are seeking to update the Finder and in particular would like to include information on podiatry practices.

For more information on the Human Services Finder, or if you wish to include your information on the Finder, or update details previously provided, please contact:
